Intermediate

Students work to develop and experience student service projects. Students have given back to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation over the past several years as well as raising money for disaster relief around the country.  Students also establish and lead initiatives about caring throughout the year.

PBIS Leadership

This student-led group creates "Cool Tools" based on student expected behaviors throughout the JA campus. Students are regulars on the JA announcements, at assemblies, and Expect Respect!

This club is just planting its roots at JA! We are looking to expand and create more of our outdoor classroom for everyone to enjoy. All students love eating in the courtyard and our Garden Club makes learning fresh for us all!

Students can meet weekly for part of their lunch to work on extensions of their art with Ms. Valdez. Many students love to participate in art and enjoy this time with their friends.  Join Art Club today!

Meets weekly after school

Spanish Club is the only JA Club to meet after school. Native Spanish speakers and those just acquiring Spanish enjoy the structure of learning through interaction and technology. This club does NOT provide transportation.

Join our noon club to create and star in the JA morning announcements. It takes many interested students to star in and film all the wonderful things happening at JA.

This club will be expanding soon!  We are so proud of our students at JA who are growing as coders. It is a wonderful way to spend part of your lunch. Students work with technology and create memories and skills!

10 lucky students will compete in Lego League this year. However, many others are provided opportunities to challenge their thinking and create during Lego League.

Dance Club is a fun way to not only get exercise, but learn some new moves. This team also performs at assemblies and as a strong team at JA!

Our JA Chorus has evening performances and continues on to sing at the Jr. High.  Students learn to appreciate many types of music and harmonies.

6th Grade

As students prepare to enter Jr. High, 6th grade students have an opportunity to play such structured games as T-Ball and events like Track and Field. Students practice during the lunch hour.

Students who join Mindfulness practice yoga, create projects, and discuss strategies for creating Mindfulness. JA stresses Mindfulness at our school and through our day. We are proud of our club!

This Spring Club encourages girls to improve their fitness and well-being.  The weeks of lessons end with a run with mentors to celebrate all the girls have accomplished.

PTA Sponsored Opportunity

Students enjoy art reflection and opportunities to showcase their artwork around a theme each school year. Students also benefit from feedback to continue to grow as artists.
