Each day we greet approximately 500 students with our strong expectations for learning and growth. Students at Jane Addams are supported by a highly dedicated staff who acknowledges the unique gifts of each child. We honor and respect our school, community, and families. Jane Addams is committed to biliteracy, biculturalism, and bilingualism.

We also provide students strategies and support through Expect Respect! Developing a common expectation for respect ensures Jane Addams continues to be a place where all create an environment to support effective learning. 

Our leaders continue to develop the skills to succeed and thrive in the next level of their education. Through effective strategies, teachers guide and model through a variety of educational approaches. Our students are encouraged to share their observations and engage in connections through each learning outcome that connects our home and school cultures,

At Jane Addams, we celebrate the contributions of many academic and social clubs and committees. Chromebooks connect students to a 1:1 educational experience in each grade. At Jane Addams, we are Global Citizens.

We value our community partners. This year, we will continue to welcome our teams from Hands on Suburban Chicago, Kids Hope, Palatine High School and Harper College, along with our parent volunteers. Our classrooms are alive with energy as students engage in the daily tasks of learning to achieve their utmost potential.
